Melvin Ross Look Alike?

Some people believe this is Melvin Ross and his second wife Mary Ellen Haddon Ross. Others think it is a look-alike couple

Melvin Ross is the great and mysterious important character in the drama of our Morgan/Radford family history. He was married first to Julia Elizabeth Smith Ross and a daughter from that marriage, Lovina Ross, married William Morgan, son of Thomas Morgan. After the death of Julia Elizabeth Melvin married Mary Ellen Haddon. They lived for many years in Utah but moved eventually to the Ririe, Idaho area to settle. The daughter, Julia Elizabeth Ross, born to this second marriage and named after the first wife, married John William Radford.

However, it is possible the picture above is not of Melvin Ross and Mary Ellen Haddon. The picture was found in a collection of Morgan/Radford/Ross pictures that included other pictures of Melvin Ross and the bearded man certainly looks like Melvin. But the woman doesn't look like Mary Ellen Haddon. The woman who owns the picture collection guessed that the couple might be Ben Hooper and Aunt Tildie. It is shown here simply for historical interest. We don't know for sure who it is, or even who Ben Hooper is.
