The names for the people in this picture were written on the back of the picture and, since Julia Elizabeth and her daughter
were excellent historians, I believe these identifications must be correct.
Actually we really hesitated to put this picture on the website because it is an example of one of the most frustrating practices
a family history researcher runs across. The practice of cutting the heads out of otherwise great old family pictures so as
to make little thumbnail composites for a family scrapbook or family tree. This awful practice has ruined a lot of fine old
family photographs and it should be outlawed! If you are moved to cut heads out of your family pictures, go have copies made
of the pictures and then cut the heads out of the copies. PLEASE!
