Young Women In White

This picture easily exemplifies the purity and innocence that, in today's popular culture, has all too often faded into our past

youngwomeninwhite.jpg

Even though this picture was found in a Morgan/Radford/Ross collection, we only know two of these young ladies. The woman front right is Sadie Geneva Radford (1898-1968), daughter of John William Radford and his wife Julia Elizabeth Ross Radford. She has a wedding ring on her finger and the white dresses may indicate a special occasion, perhaps her marriage to Roland Durrant in 1916 or an LDS temple session. The other woman sitting in front is Josephine (Josie) Howard.
