Grant Daniel Radford

George and Martha's 8th child

Grant Daniel was born 7 June 1922. He lived at home with his parents until his dad passed and then moved with his mother to live with his brother and sister in law Cleo and Etsel. He continued to live with his older brother and sister-in-law until he died 18 Nov 1993, the last one of the family to pass away. Grant loved to shoot at birds with a flipper and then with a b-b-gun. He watched the highway for friends to pass by and they always honked to say hi. He knew all their cars or outfits (Idahoan for pickup). He spent a lot of time researching the Sears catalog in hopes of finding a more accurate and powerful b-b-gun that could be used to drive away or rid the yard of the fruit destroyers that menaced the mulberry trees, raspberries, and apple orchard. When found the gun was quickly placed on his Christmas want list. Grant Daniel was handicapped and never married.
